This is my old 80's NSM-TopGame arcade cabinet. It was an AMIDAR machine for almost 10 years, when i bought it for around $300 in 1996 I was able to choose between several gameboards, bezels and marquees and I chose...three times GALAGA=)
It would still be a GALAGA machine, but in 2002 (after trying some other gameboards) the soundchip and two controller ICs gave up. So the time had finally come to make my MAME dreams come true...
Today it holds more games than anyone could ever play, they all fit the screen perfectly (thanks MAME Team for the new VESA drivers) and even save their hiscore lists, although the original games did not. | |
